Brenda Tharp specializes in outdoor and travel photography, with over 23 years experience in these areas. Her photographs are used regularly in ads, brochures, books, calendars, and greeting cards, for clients including British Gas, Canon, Michelin, National Geographic, National Wildlife Federation, Nature Conservancy, Sierra, Sunset and most recently, several interior designers. She wrote and photographed Creative Nature and Outdoor Photography (Amphoto), and has contributed images to several books by Chronicle, Michelin and the Golden Gate National Park Conservancy. She is represented by Getty Images, Danita Delimont and Photo Researchers. Brenda has had several solo and group fine art exhibits in recent years. She has spoken on photography and creativity to thousands of people in audiences around the country, and has been leading photo workshops and tours for the past 21 years.
