Heather Anne Thomas’ father gave her a camera at age five and she’s never put it down. She studied painting and art history at the University of Texas to solidify her foundation in the arts. She honed her technical skills assisting some of the greatest photographers working in Houston and New York City and teaching lighting classes at RMSP. Heather Anne’s cool-as-a-cucumber attitude, her ability to anticipate, and her extraordinary skills make her invaluable to other photographers and students. Her ability to understand how light works is uncanny, and when asked to tell what she knows, her favorite answer is “it’s magical.” Heather Anne loves sharing her passion for photography.
