Zack Arias is a full-time editorial photographer based in Atlanta. For the past eight years he has been concentrating on portraits of musicians for press kits, promotional posters and CD artwork. In total Zack has pursued photography for over 15 years. He graduated with Best Portfolio honors from a small school’s commercial photography program in 1996 and set out to become the "next big thing". Four years later, Zack found himself photographing apartments for an Internet company and watching his young marriage fall apart. As the marriage ended, so did his photography career. Zack walked away from the industry for two years to get his priorities straightened out. While working a day job he was approached by photographer Marc Climie with an offer to be a second shooter at a wedding. Zack shot his first wedding with Marc in October 2003 and quit his job the next week to become a full-time photographer...again. Having learned his lessons the hard way, Zack rebuilt a career that left plenty of time to be a family man, stayed away from credit cards, and rebuilt his career with zero debt. Zack and his wife, Meghan, have four young boys.
