Where We Go: In Basic Photography you learned the nuts and bolts of your SLR and how to use it. Intermediate taught you how to incorporate more creative techniques into your photography. Now it’s time for our Advanced Photography workshop to help you develop your personal style as you learn to approach your work with a fresh pair of eyes. In and around Missoula, Montana, you will build on your current abilities while photographing at Ninepipe Wildlife Refuge, the Mission Mountains and the Rattlesnake Wilderness.

What You Learn: There is no finish line in photography. There is only the process of maturing, progressing and constantly trying new things. During this workshop you’ll benefit from having Tim mentor you on advanced concepts while enjoying a comfortable setting full of laughter and encouragement. Throughout your time in Missoula you learn advanced photography techniques, the basics of using your flash on and off your camera, color theory, approaches for creating a body of work and how to work through the inevitable challenges. During group-led critiques, you gain constructive feedback on your images and learn from both your successes and those of your fellow photographers.
