Cancellation and Tuition Refund Policy

Withdrawal from a Career Training course is a serious matter. Demand for course placement is high, due to the limited size of the courses. When a student accepts a position in a course, other students are denied that position. If a student withdraws after a course begins, another person cannot take his or her place.

Tuition Refund Policy for Summer Intensive and Advanced Intensive Cancellations

  1. A full refund of all money paid, less the $50 registration fee, will be made to any applicant who cancels the enrollment agreement within 72 hours (until midnight of the third day, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays) after the enrollment agreement is signed by the applicant.
  2. A full refund of all money paid will be made to any applicant who is not accepted by the school.
  3. A full refund of all money paid, less the $50 registration fee and tuition deposit, will be made to any applicant who cancels enrollment prior to the start of the program (and after the 72-hour cancellation privilege).
  4. A full refund of all money paid will be made to any applicant in the event that educational services are discontinued by RMSP.

Tuition Refund Policy for Summer Intensive and Advanced Intensive Withdrawals

  1. Refund computations will be based on scheduled weeks (Monday through Saturday) of class attendance and calculated as of the official date of withdrawal. The official date of withdrawal will be considered to be the date of receipt of withdrawal notice from the student.
  2. Once a course begins (and after the expiration of the 72-hour cancellation privilege) the following policy will be in effect:
    1. Withdrawal within the first week of the course: The amount owed to RMSP is 20% of the tuition of the course, plus the $500 deposit and $50 registration fee.
    2. Withdrawal within the second week of the course: The amount owed to RMSP is 35% of the tuition of the course, plus the $500 deposit and $50 registration fee.
    3. Withdrawal within the third week of the course: The amount owed to RMSP is 50% of the tuition of the course, plus the $500 deposit and $50 registration fee.
    4. Withdrawal after the third week of the course: The amount owed to RMSP is 100% of the tuition of the course, including deposit and registration fee.

In the case of a student's prolonged illness or injury, a death in the student's immediate family, or other circumstances that make it impractical for the student to complete Summer Intensive and/or Advanced Intensive, RMSP, at its sole discretion, will make a settlement that it considers reasonable and fair to the student. The school will propose a settlement within 30 days of the official date of withdrawal. Refunds for students who withdraw from a course will be totally consummated within 30 days of official date of withdrawal.

Tuition Refund Policy for Professional Studies

The act of registering for a Career Training class creates an obligation to pay. All classes have a limited number of seats available. Your registration, along with the appropriate deposit reserves a seat in that class.

Payment of the deposit is due at the time of the registration. Students have until thirty (30) calendar days from the start of the Pro-Studies session to pay their tuition in full. If payment has not been paid 30-days before the start of Pro Studies session, the student will be dropped from that class for non-payment.

Once a student is dropped from a class, RMSP will run through a waitlist process to fill the empty seat with a qualified student. A student that has been dropped due to non-payment may register again for the course if there is an available seat or he/she may ask to be placed on the waitlist.

A student on a waitlist will be contacted via email or phone when an available seat opens up. The student will have until the close of the next business day to inform the RMSP office if he/she would like to take the spot. If the student does not respond in that timeframe, the spot will be offered to the next person on the waitlist.

Drop/Add

Switching classes is allowed, however there will be a $20 switching fee applied to all classes switched.
