Hotel and Meeting Space

This workshop will begin on the east side of Glacier National Park and ends on the west side. This workshop begins Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and ends Friday at 5 p.m. During this workshop, you will stay at two different hotels. 
 

1. While on the east side of the park, please make your reservations for the nights of August 18-20, departing August 21. Please call and speak with Amber Green and be sure to indicate that you are a student of Rocky Mountain School of Photography.

   $164 per night + tax (standard room). Room choices are based on a first-come, first-served basis.  

   Cutoff date: Make your reservations by June 19, 2013. After this date, reservations will be based on availability. Glacier hotels regularly fill up far in advance of the summer season.

   Cancellation policy: Please check with the hotel about their cancellation policy.

2. While on the west side of the park make your reservations at the Belton Chalet for the nights of August 21-23, departing August 24. Be sure to indicate that you are a student of Rocky Mountain School of Photography.

   Rooms have been blocked at the rate of $155 per night + tax (standard room) and $170 per night + tax (balcony room). Room choices are based on a first-come, first-served basis.  

   Cutoff date: Make your reservations by July 30, 2013. After this date, reservations will be based on availability. 

Parking

Free parking is available at both hotels.

Air Transportation

RMSP is not responsible for cancellations due to medical or other emergencies or reimbursement of non-refundable airline tickets/hotel rooms in the event of a course cancellation. Please consider the purchase of trip/travel insurance.

Travel During the Workshop

You are responsible for your own transportation during the workshop. For transportation to and from field shoots, we suggest that students carpool to get to know fellow students. Your final email will include a car share list of interested participants.

Meals During the Workshop

You are responsible for your own meals during the workshop. The instructor will allow plenty of breaks in the schedule.    

Fees

Tuition includes a boat trip from Many Glacier Hotel. Any additional fees, including entrance into the park, will be your responsibility. Glacier National Park requires an entrance fee of $25 per vehicle for a seven day pass.
