Why? Basic Photography taught you the building blocks of photography and gave you the confidence that comes with knowledge. Now it's time for Intermediate Photography with Tony Rizzuto to take you even further. While exploring more advanced photographic topics, you also explore more of the beauty of Western Montana. Jagged mountain views from Ninepipes Wildlife Refuge, the cascading waters of Kootenai Creek, and the historic western town of Philipsburg (the kaleidoscopic candy store will blow your mind!) provide a rich palette for your burgeoning artistry.
What? This weeklong course encourages and teaches you to see more creatively. In a wide spectrum of shooting scenarios, Rizzuto teaches you low-light and night photography, techniques and equipment for macro photography, and how to work within the limitations of your camera's sensor. As he challenges you to seek out creative compositions, you'll learn the difference between simply taking a picture and actually designing a great image. His humorous, easygoing nature makes for a comfortable learning environment. Rizzuto leads group critiques that further your growth by offering a window into the thought process and keen eye of a professional photographer.
Who? You have an understanding of the basic principles of photography and are able to operate your DSLR on manual mode, or have taken RMSP's Basic Photography.
