Do you want to run a photo business? Maybe you just want to learn all there is to know about your camera? Either way, check out our One Day Events. These new classes are short, intense, and will teach you more than you thought possible in eight hours.

One Day Events come in two types: "Day With A Pro" and "Mastering Your Camera." Each event is catered to a different audience, but both have the same principle: give you the RMSP experience in a condense, one-day time frame.

If you would like to make money with your photography, check out the Day With A Pro. These classes will put you in front of a professional photographer who will tell you how to get started and walk you through some of the challenges facing aspiring professionals today.

If photography is more of a hobby, but you still want to learn as much as possible in a day, look at Mastering Your Camera . This class will start with a review of basic exposure concepts and continue onto advanced exposure topics like Zone System and outsmarting the meter. By the end, you will have the skills to shoot in any situation.

Both classes will give you hands-on shooting time with the instructor and time to apply what you learn and ask questions. This isn't a "lecture only" conference where you sit and listen to the instructor without the opportunity to interact. Our instructors and assistants are there for you. They want to ensure you leave the class with hands-on experience and answers to all your questions.

To learn more about these events, pick one below and read all the details!

Description

Are you looking to gain confidence using your camera in difficult shooting situations? Do you want hands-on time with instructors to ask questions, gain insight and see first-hand how they would handle a shooting situation? Are you looking to make your images and editing more consistent?

Mastering Your Camera is a one-day class built to help improve your confidence and consistency. It starts with a review of basic exposure concepts to ensure all students are at the same level and have a good foundation of F-stops, shutter speeds, and ISOs. Then, the instructor transitions into more advanced exposure concepts like outsmarting the meter and zone system. The day finishes with a field shoot, editing demo, and critique where you can get your questions answered and learn ways to improve your images.

We limit the class size to 20 students and provide qualified teaching assistants and administrators to ensure the teacher-to-student ratio remains better than 1:10. If you have questions, don’t worry, we got you!

If you are looking for a more detailed (although tentative) outline, check the “Schedule” tab above! If you have a question about the event, give us a call or check the FAQ’s underneath the “Register” button above. We hope to see you there!
