Did you get a new Mirrorless/DSLR camera over the holidays and are curious how to get started?

This class is for people who are totally new to photography and want to start using their camera correctly from the very first photo.

This course will cover the following topics:

  • Best exposure settings for portrait and landscape images
  • Using aperture/F-stop to control the background blur in your images
  • Best lenses for different situations
  • How to get perfect colors out of your camera
  • Memory cards, batteries, and how to take care of them
  • Getting your images from your camera onto social media

IMPORTANT: While all of the concepts taught in this class will apply to every mirrorless/DSLR camera, we will be demoing these concepts on a Canon Rebel T6i DSLR camera.

"The instructor's knowledge and enthusiasm about the topic were infectious. He was also very organized and explained things in a way that was easy to understand."

"Forest is very methodical in how he presents complex material."

"Forest is knowledgeable, experienced, up-to-date on the latest information, and a natural on camera. You can tell that he really knows what he's talking about."

This online class will meet on the following date and at the following times:
