Time will not be spent learning Zoom in class so we recommend familiarizing yourself with the platform prior to starting class. Click here to download the Zoom app on your computer. A Meeting ID number and password will be emailed to all registered students before the first class session. If you have not received login instructions 24 hours before the first class session, please email online@rmsp.com.

Class sessions are live and are not recorded for later viewing. Please click "Schedule" for specific dates and times.

Learning photography starts here! This 3-session class is designed for photographers that already have a DSLR or Mirrorless camera and want to move beyond the auto mode. The emphasis of this class is all about understanding exposure and getting comfortable enough to start shooting in Manual.

Topics include:
  • What is exposure and how do we control it?
  • What makes for a good or bad exposure
  • How to read, understand, and use the histogram
  • Photographing with our camera in MANUAL mode
  • Understanding how the camera’s meter works and how to use it
